Ideas that invite dialogue, reflection, and action.
Throughout my career, writing has been another way of extending the conversations that begin in classrooms, rehearsal rooms, workshops, and communities. My work explores the intersections of theatre, education, facilitation, community engagement, and social change, with a particular interest in how creative practice can deepen relationships, foster critical reflection, and strengthen democratic participation.
Whether writing for academic publications, edited collections, or professional audiences, I aim to create work that is both intellectually rigorous and practically useful, bridging theory and practice in ways that invite readers to imagine new possibilities for learning, collaboration, and collective action.

Over the past two decades I have presented workshops, lectures, and conference sessions across the United States and internationally, sharing approaches to facilitation, Theatre of the Oppressed, arts education, leadership, and community engagement.
Current Projects
My current work explores the intersections of facilitation, systems thinking, organizational learning, and relational practice. As I continue my graduate training in Marriage and Family Therapy, I am increasingly interested in how ideas from systemic therapy can inform leadership, education, theatre, and community practice.
Mind the Gap: The Platform (Launching Fall 2026)
I am currently collaborating with New York Theatre Workshop and long-time partners to launch the Mind the Gap: The Platform, a new digital resource designed to support educators, artists, facilitators, and community practitioners in using intergenerational theatre to foster dialogue, creativity, and meaningful connection. Building on more than fifteen years of collaboration and the continued evolution of the nationally recognized Mind the Gap Intergenerational Theatre Program, the platform will offer practical tools, activities, and resources that invite people of diverse ages to learn from one another through dialogue, storytelling, and theatre-making.
Learning to Make Theatre Together: Reflections on the Development of Una tal Raquel (2027)
Currently in development for a volume honoring the life and work of Professor Debra A. Castillo, this essay will reflect on my experience developing Nora Glickman’s Una tal Raquel with Teatrotaller at Cornell University. It will explore how Castillo’s approach to theatre as a space for inquiry, dialogue, and collective learning shaped my continuing work in theatre, education, facilitation, and community engagement.
Looking Ahead
I believe writing is an ongoing conversation. In the years ahead, I look forward to sharing new essays and reflections inspired by my work as an educator, facilitator, organizational leader, and emerging family therapist.
